San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture has reportedly fractured his ankle and will likely be out of the lineup for at least six weeks, according to Pierre LeBrun of TSN and The Athletic.
Couture had to be helped off the ice during Tuesday night’s game against the St. Louis Blues at Enterprise Center in the second period following his battle for a loose puck with Blues defenceman Vince Dunn.
Chasing the biscuit alongside Dunn in the St. Louis zone, Couture took a shove from the rearguard before stumbling into the end boards.
The 30-year-old was clutching his left knee immediately after the incident.
