CAMILLA – The Terrell Academy Eagles broke open a close game with a seven-run fourth inning and went on to defeat the Westwood Wildcats 16-5 Tuesday afternoon in Camilla.
“Our offense finally put some quality at-bats together, and we were able to get some timely hits,” said Terrell Academy Head Coach Ashley Walker. “We did a lot of damage with two outs, and that’s what sparked us. We were able to battle at the plate and hit the ball hard. We pounded out 12 hits, with more than half of them coming with two outs in the inning.
