In a case for which the NFL is again being called out for what some see as an archaic marijuana policy, Bills offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson is facing a 10-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy for the third time, NFL.com reports.
Henderson, who served a four-game suspension for a similar violation earlier this season, is appealing the latest ruling, and a final decision is expected this week.
While Henderson’s recreational drug use in college caused his draft stock to fall (the Bills selected him in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft), he has the very painful Crohn's disease and has had two intestinal surgeries for it.
