The Los Angeles Rams made the tough decision to move on from Cooper Kupp after eight seasons, releasing the wide receiver following their failed attempt to trade him. He wound up signing with the Seattle Seahawks, heading back home to the Pacific Northwest and joining a Rams rival in the process.
The Rams effectively replaced him with Davante Adams before even releasing Kupp, also signing Tutu Atwell to a fully guaranteed $10 million deal. With their top three receivers set, there wasn’t necessarily going to be room for Kupp in the new-look group.
