They say three is a magic number. In the third round of the 2025 NFL draft, the Seattle Seahawks drafted only the third quarterback during John Schneider's tenure as general manager by selecting Jalen Milroe from Alabama. The last time Schneider drafted a quarterback in the third round was of course Russell Wilson, who made the No. 3 jersey a common gameday attire while he was Seattle's signal caller.
While Milroe met with the Seahawks during the pre-draft process at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center, I would be willing to bet not many 12's expected Seattle to ultimately pick the Crimson Tide starter.
