Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf swung his helmet and connected with the top of teammate K'Von Wallace's helmeted head amid a Wednesday training camp skirmish that NFL Network cameras caught in the background of a televised segment.
Wallace appeared to be acting as peacemaker between Metcalf and cornerback Tre Brown and simply found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic provided the context and lead-in to the hit.
"The fisticuffs began earlier in the day. Brown engaged in pushing and shoving with receiver Jake Bobo, who ended up losing his helmet.
