Scott Frost is coming home.
Frost, the UCF coach and former Nebraska quarterback, will be named the Cornhuskers' next head coach, according to multiple reports Saturday.
The 42-year-old Frost, a former quarterback who led the Cornhuskers to a share of the 1997 national championship, has led the Knights to an 11-0 record heading into Saturday's American Athletic Conference championship game against Memphis.
He will replace Mike Riley at Nebraska. Riley was fired after three seasons, with Nebraska going 4-8 this season.
UCF made Frost, who was the offensive coordinator at Oregon, a first-time head coach in December 2015 after the Knights finished 0-12.
