Salvador Perez, Miguel Sanó reveal positive coronavirus tests Saturday

Two Major League Baseball All-Stars have revealed positive coronavirus tests Saturday. Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez and Minnesota Twins third baseman Miguel Sanó both tested positive for the virus.

The Twins announced Friday that four players had tested positive for coronavirus. The team released three names Friday, but did not announce Sanó, 27, until Saturday.

It’s unclear whether Sanó is experiencing symptoms. He will not be cleared to join the team until he produces two negative tests.

Perez, 30, also revealed a positive test Saturday.
