The College Football Playoff Selection Committee slotted Louisville at No. 7 in its initial CFP Rankings, the third one-loss team listed in the first top 25 released on Tuesday night.

The Cardinals may have been penalized for their performance in a come-from-behind one-score win at Virginia last week, but if so, the committee's opinion should be changed after a 52-7 rout of Boston College on Saturday.

Lamar Jackson continued to pile up the scores for his Heisman Trophy resume with seven touchdowns (his third seven-touchdown performance this season), while helping Louisville make the most of every possession.
