New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara missed the team's minicamp on Thursday as he's looking for a new contract.
Brad Cicala, Kamara's agent, confirmed to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that Kamara's departure was due to "contract-related" reasons.
According to Saints reporter Nick Underhill, the veteran running back took part in Thursday's walkthrough before leaving. Kamara currently has two years remaining on a five-year deal that he signed with New Orleans in 2020.
