Sacramento mayor and former NBA point guard Kevin Johnson was struck in the face with a pie at a city event Wednesday, touching off what was described as a "bloody brawl" that Johnson appeared to win.
The East Bay Express reported Johnson was attending a Farm-to-Fork event at Sacramento High School, his alma mater, when a protester came up and shoved what looked to be a store-bought pie into his face. The two then exchanged words, prompting Johnson to attack his assailant.
