Ryder Cup 2016: 'Zero tolerance' for hecklers, PGA of America says

The PGA of America demanded a "zero tolerance" approach towards unruly fan behavior at the Ryder Cup on the final day of action.

Europe's Rory McIlroy — who went off in Match 1 Sunday against American Patrick Reed — was targeted Saturday walking between the seventh and eighth holes at Hazeltine by a heckler who goaded him over his relationship with tennis star Caroline Wozniacki.

Henrik Stenson was interrupted on the 11th green as he lined up a putt, actions admonished by Team USA's Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed, who went on to beat the British Open champion and Justin Rose, 2 and 1, in Saturday's fourballs to give the Americans a 9½-6½ lead entering Sunday's singles.
