CHASKA, Minn. — Rickie Fowler was ecstatic to become one of Davis Love III's four captain's picks for this year's Ryder Cup, and he admitted Tuesday that he's feeling good about his game heading into the week.
"I'm feeling better about the game having two weeks off than I would have if I would have been playing," Fowler said in his news conference Tuesday at Hazeltine National Golf Club. "I would have been worn out. Up until the Tour Championship, I was on the road eight out of nine weeks with a couple of majors, being down in Rio and then adding Greensboro.
