CHASKA, Minn. — The day of reckoning will soon be upon Ryder Cup captains Darren Clarke and Davis Love III.
After countless hours of planning and strategizing, the first pairings are on the board with one more night separating a calm atmosphere at Hazeltine National from the pandemonium set to break loose Friday morning when Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed start things off against Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose.
During his Thursday news conference, Love spoke about the excitement of his players, and how that, in turn, has affected him.
