Denver Broncos practice-squad safety Ryan Murphy was detained and questioned by authorities Tuesday in San Jose, California, during a prostitution sting involving his brother, according to the San Jose Mercury News' Robert Salonga.
Citing sources, Salonga reported Murphy's brother was cited for solicitation, while Murphy was not arrested or cited.
According to USA Today's Lindsay Jones, there has been "no change" to Murphy's status with the team to this point as the Broncos gear up for Super Bowl 50 on Sunday in Santa Clara against the Carolina Panthers.
Jones also noted the Broncos "are aware" of reports regarding Murphy but the team has "no further comment.
