The Russian government took part in "widespread state-sponsored doping" during the 2014 Sochi Olympics, according to the McLaren report released Monday by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
The McLaren report, a two-month investigation into the allegations sponsored by WADA, was sparked by a New York Times story that accused the Russian government of helping to manipulate tests at the Sochi Games so cheaters wouldn't get caught.
