Russell Wilson's calf is giving him trouble before the start of the 2024 NFL regular season.

Brooke Pryor of ESPN reported that Wilson is being evaluated for "tightness in the same calf that was injured during training camp" and that he was "limited" in Thursday's practice due to "an abundance of caution."

Wilson injured his calf during conditioning training in August and missed the early stages of training camp and the preseason. He was named the Steeler's Week 1 starter on Aug. 28.
