All signs have pointed to Russell Wilson being named the Pittsburgh Steelers' starting quarterback for their game against the New York Jets on Sunday.
Now Wilson himself has provided word that he is "preparing to get ready to go" as the Steelers' QB1.
"I'm more myself physically, being up and running and all that stuff, so I feel good," Wilson said Thursday (h/t ESPN's Brooke Pryor).
"... You want to be able to move around, and obviously I've never really missed games before, so that's been a challenge in itself.
"It's been disappointing, but also I've grown a lot, too.
