Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe's support of Leeds United is well-known, having been linked with a takeover bid for the Championship club.
But the New Zealand-born star of 'Gladiator' and 'Les Miserables' does not seem to have grasped the reality of the transfer market as yet after he urged the Elland Road outfit to sign one of the world's biggest stars.
In the aftermath of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski being named Bundesliga's Player of the Month for October, Crowe took to Twitter in a bid to try and push Leeds towards signing the Poland international.
