Former Louisville All-American Russ Smith had himself quite the game Wednesday night.
The Delaware 87ers guard scored an NBA D-League single-game record 65 points, breaking the 61 points scored by Jordan McRae (also for Delaware) in January. What made Smith's record so impressive is how he set it.

He only made one 3-pointer in the effort, scoring 16-of-20 at the free throw line and 32 from layups.
