West Ham youngster Reece Oxford has spurned the advances of Manchester United in order to sign a new contract with the Hammers, according to the Sun.
Both United and neighbours Manchester City were keen on the England under-20 star, who burst onto the scene at the start of last season when becoming West Ham's youngest-ever first-team player as a 16-year-old.
Those advances spurred West Ham into action though, and it is now being reported that Oxford will sign a new five-year deal at the club.
It is also thought that the Hammers will release news of the deal on Friday as Oxford celebrates his 18th birthday.
