Chinese Super League club Tianjin Quanjian are plotting an £80 million bid for Chelsea striker Diego Costa, according to The Sun.
The report claims the newly promoted team, who are managed by Fabio Cannavaro, had a £50m offer for Costa rejected last month but are planning to come back with a bigger bid.
Tianjin are owned by billionaire Shu Yuhui and would be prepared to make Costa one of the highest-paid players in world football on £480,000 a week.
