Barcelona are interested in securing the services of AC Milan duo Ignazio Abate and Mattia De Sciglio, according to Fichajes.
Abate, an exceptionally-experienced right-back with well over 200 first-team appearances for the Rossoneri and 22 senior caps for Italy, is seen as an alternative to Arsenal's Hector Bellerin, who has just signed a new deal at the Emirates.
De Sciglio is also a full-back, who can operate on both sides and in the middle of defence, who at 24 years of age has made 30 appearances for Italy.
Barcelona are determined to improve their options in the full-back area and the Milan duo are just two options for the Catalan giants in the January transfer window.
