RUMORS: Valencia plots €45M Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez swoop

Related Topics: Peter Lim

Valencia reportedly is looking to bring in Javier Hernandez as a January reinforcement and is ready to pay his 45 million euro ($50M) release clause with Bayer Leverkusen.

AS understands that Los Che owner Peter Lim is eager to boost the firepower available to new coach Cesare Prandelli, as he looks to guide the club to survival this season.

Valencia sold Paco Alcacer to Barcelona in the summer and apparently will now hope to count on Lim's financial muscle in brokering a deal for Hernandez as a replacement.

Leverkusen has no desire to let its star go but will be forced to open negotiations the moment the La Liga side meets his release clause.
