Chelsea is weighing up a January bid for ostracized Inter midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, the Mirror reports.
The versatile 23-year-old opted to switch Monaco for Serie A last summer but has found it difficult to cement a spot in the starting XI, while the club itself is in disarray.
Inter won only two of its previous seven league matches and saw coach Frank de Boer sacked as a result. With internal problems plaguing the club, Kondogbia is said to want out.
And with Antonio Conte having missed out on midfield destroyer Radja Nainggolan over the summer, Kondogbia represents a good alternative as the Blues look to strengthen their squad in the winter transfer window.
