The Royals won 18 of 22 games in August after inheriting the Rally Mantis and Rally Mantis Jr. as unofficial dugout talismans. But like the first insect inherited by the club, Junior and his order will not be making anymore appearances for the defending World Series champions.
Back facing the Twins on Monday, where the elder Rally Mantis passed away on Aug. 12, the Royals announced that Junior will no longer be traveling with the team.
