As momentum drastically shifted out of his teams' favor, North Carolina coach Roy Williams made a number of questionable decisions in the final minutes of Wednesday's 74-73 loss against Duke.
Easily the most head-scratching thing Williams did, was fail to call a timeout when Brice Johnson grabbed a rebound with 24 seconds remaining in the game. The Tar Heels were down by one point. Williams had three timeouts to play with, so there was no reason for the experienced coach not to draw up a play. Instead, North Carolina haphazardly ran around, leading to a desperation Joel Berry mid-range jumper that had no chance of falling.
