Roundup: Ryan Braun Ties Brewers Record With Homer

Ryan Braun hit a grand slam to tie Robin Yount’s team home run mark, lifting the host Milwaukee Brewers to a 6-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday afternoon and a sweep of the season series.

The rookie Taylor Jungmann set a career high with nine strikeouts in six and a third scoreless innings. Francisco Rodriguez converted his 29th save by getting out of two-out, bases-loaded jam in the ninth.

Braun finished with five runs batted in. His 251st career homer came with two outs in the fifth, when he hit Aaron Harang’s fastball off the scoreboard girder in left-center field.
