Apparently the Rose Bowl really is the Granddaddy of Them All this year.
Monday's New Year's Six game between Penn State and USC has ticket prices on the secondary market going for an average of $418. By comparison, Peach Bowl tickets are going for an average of $288, while the Fiesta Bowl has prices going for an average of $224.
The Peach (No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 4 Washington) and Fiesta (No. 2 Ohio State vs. No. 3 Clemson) are this year's College Football Playoff semifinals.
"The Rose Bowl is consistently one of the hottest bowl games of the year; it has topped the list three of the past four years,” SeatGeek spokesperson Chris Leyden told USA Today .
