A former 49ers legend and Hall of Famer could end up being a key figure in keeping the Raiders in Oakland.
Ronnie Lott, along with former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete, are leading a group investors in negotiations with city officials, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

The group is described as predominantly African-American and includes Fannie Mae Chairman Egbert Perry, along with Lott and Peete.
Lott played with the Los Angeles Raiders in 1991-92 after spending the first 10 seasons of his career across the bay in San Francisco.
