Ronald de Boer: Frank immediately had problems at Inter

Ronald de Boer has suggested his brother, Frank, had everything going against him at Inter before his sacking on Tuesday.

The Dutchman signed a three-year deal with the Nerazzurri in August, replacing Roberto Mancini as coach less than two weeks before the Serie A campaign started. However, just three months later, he has been dismissed.

Despite ample investment in the first-team over the summer, with Joao Mario, Gabriel Barbosa and Antonio Candreva among others coming in, Inter sits 12th in the league, nine points off bottom placed Crotone and 13 behind leader Juventus.

The board opted to let the former Ajax boss go, and his twin brother believes the job was too great for Frank, as the club is in such disarray with a large squad and too many “political aspects.
