Forward Amy Rodriguez marked her return to the U.S. national team after a yearlong absence as coach Jill Ellis selected 29 players for the squad's first camp of 2017.
The 29-year-old last appeared for the U.S. in a 3-1 win over Brazil on Oct. 25, 2015. A member of the 2015 Women's World Cup-winning team, Rodriguez gave birth to her second child July 1.
The camp will be held Jan. 13-23 in Carson, California, as preparation for the SheBelieves Cup, which will see the U.S. face Germany, France and England in March. The women's national team and U.
