Banished former Mets reliever Jenrry Mejia will be given "fair consideration" for reinstatement when he's eligible in 2018, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred said Tuesday.
With that being said, Manfred didn't have many kind words for Mejia's attorney, Vincent White.

Last month, White accused MLB of "dirty cop tactics and hacking players' online accounts." Manfred didn't take too kindly to the idea.
"First of all, let me say, the allegations made by Mr. Mejia's attorney are utterly and completely without factual foundation," Manfred told reporters, via ESPN.
