U.S. Olympic women’s water polo coach Adam Krikorian made an emotional return to the poolside Tuesday after flying home to Southern California be with his family following the death last Wednesday of older brother Blake, 48.
Krikorian, who arrived back in Rio on Monday, took his place alongside the U.S. team and inspired them to an 11-4 opening-day victory against Spain.

After the match, he fought back tears as he spoke about how his players have helped him deal with his loss.
