Devon Allen will return from Rio de Janeiro without an Olympic medal, but with some serious thinking to do about his future as a potential two-sport star.
The Oregon wide receiver finished fifth in the final of the 110-meter hurdles Tuesday night, posting a time of 13.31 that was well short of his personal best established last month at the U.S. Olympic trials.

The only man in the world to have run faster than that 13.03 entering Rio was Jamaica's Omar McLeod, who cruised to gold in a time of 13.
