Rio Olympics 2016: Aliya Mustafina wins gold in uneven bars, Madison Kocian takes silver

Aliya Mustafina took gold in the women’s uneven bars individual competition on Sunday, with American Madison Kocian taking the silver.

Mustafina, of Russia, won the event with a 15.9. Kocian followed with the silver at 15.833. Germany’s Sophie Scheder took bronze with a score of 15.566.

Mustafina earned the bronze medal in the team competition earlier this week.

Kocian already has a gold medal in the games as part of the Team USA ‘Final Five’ that won the team competition.
