Richard Sherman rips anti-defense NFL rules, publicly funded stadiums

Sporting News agrees with John Clayton — Richard Sherman would be a fantastic president.

The veteran ESPN writer now hosts a two-hour radio show Mondays on 710 ESPN Seattle, and this week, he was joined by the Seahawks cornerback for a lighthearted, playful conversation about Sherman's candidacy.

But Sherman, no stranger to expression of opinion, likely wasn't joking about his feelings toward publicly funded stadiums.

"I’d get us out of this deficit," Sherman said when Clayton asked about the one thing the corner would do — country-wise or football-wise — if he had the ability to implement it.
