Reported trademark filings hint at 50th fight for Floyd Mayweather

Floyd Mayweather might see his name in lights at least one more time.

The welterweight champion was last seen beating an out-gunned Andre Berto to tie Rocky Marciano's undefeated record of 49-0. Mayweather retired soon after, but there's been plenty of speculation since that the temptation for a potentially historic (both financially and otherwise) fight No. 50 would be too great to turn down.

ESPN reported Sunday the company owned by Mayweather filed for trademarks to "TMT 50" and "TBE 50" on April 21 — "TMT" for "The Money Team" and "TBE" stands for "The Best Ever.
