Michael Floyd is headed home to play for the Minnesota Vikings. According to NFL Network and multiple reports, Floyd has signed a one-year deal with the Vikings.
The 27-year-old receiver grew up in St. Paul, Minn., so he’s going to be playing fairly close to home next season – much closer than Arizona and New England, which were his last two stops in the NFL.
He was given a second chance by the Patriots last year after he was arrested for an “extreme DUI,” but Floyd never took full advantage. He only caught four passes for 42 yards in two games with the Patriots, leading to his availability in free agency.
