Robert Saleh's firing by the New York Jets was reportedly not a drawn-out process.
During an appearance on The Bill Simmons Podcast (7:00 mark), Peter Schrager of NFL Network and Fox Sports reported that Saleh's firing meeting took approximately 10 minutes.
"Tuesday morning, Saleh comes in. He's told, 'Just come and sit down,' and Joe Douglas isn't the one calling him in," Schrager said. "It's both Johnson brothers and maybe a couple other people on the highest of levels. And it literally took 10 minutes, maybe even less. And it was, 'Thanks for your service here.
