Report: Robert Griffin III has 'potentially serious’ shoulder injury

Cleveland Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III has a “potentially serious” shoulder injury and is undergoing tests today, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Rumblings about Griffin's injury were first reported by Peter Schrager of Fox Sports.

Griffin reportedly suffered a sprained shoulder in the fourth quarter of the Browns' 29–10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Griffin was trying to run out of bounds when he was hit near the sideline. He remained in the game and handed off the ball three times before time expired.

Griffin finished the day having completed 12 of 26 passes for 190 yards and one interception.
