Report: Paul George Planning to Make Clippers Debut This Week

Paul George will make his Clippers debut during one of the team’s two road games this week, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

George has yet to play this season after undergoing surgery in early May to repair a partially torn tendon in his right rotator cuff.

The Clippers have games in Houston on Wednesday and New Orleans on Thursday. George is “leaning toward” the game against the Pelicans as the date for his debut, Wojnarowski reports.

George was acquired by the Clippers in July in exchange for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari and a record number of draft picks.
