Here's some very beginning-of-September free-agency news: big man Kevin Seraphin has agreed to a two-year, $3.6 million deal with the Indiana Pacers, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania. There is a team option on the second year.
Seraphin, 26, spent last season with the New York Knicks after five years with the Washington Wizards, and it did not go well. In New York, he had the least efficient season of his career, shooting 41 percent and almost never getting to the free throw line.
