The Indiana Pacers are in "advanced discussions" to sign veteran free agent guard Aaron Brooks to a one-year deal, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania. Brooks, 31, spent the last two seasons with the Chicago Bulls and will back up Jeff Teague in Indiana.

Brooks is a streaky shooter who can get hot out of nowhere and completely change a game. When he's not scoring, though, he does not help you win as he is a huge defensive liability.
