The Mid-American Conference has decided to hold a football season this fall despite previously deciding to cancel all fall sports, according to Yahoo Sports' Pete Thamel.
ESPN's Heather Dinich reports the school's presidents and chancellors unanimously approved a return-to-play plan on Friday.
According to WTOL's Jordan Strack, the MAC presidents have approved a six-game conference schedule. ESPN reports the schedule will begin Nov. 4, and its conference championship game will be held in mid-December.
On Aug. 8, the conference became the first FBS conference to opt not to play this fall.
