The New York Giants agreed to terms with quarterback Jameis Winston on Friday night, pairing him with Tommy DeVito in an otherwise vacant room.
The addition of Winston, who will eventually sign a two-year deal worth up to $16 million based on playing time and incentives, would seem to suggest the Giants are out on remaining veterans such as Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, and Joe Flacco.
But pump the brakes on that line of thinking.
Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports that despite signing Winston, the Giants will continue their pursuit of three-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers.
