Georgia offensive line signee D'Antne Demery was arrested Saturday for allegedly choking the mother of his one-month-old child.
While a police report has not been published, The Macon Telegraph reports that Demery was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass and simple battery. Demery is alleged to have choked his girlfriend outside of a Waffle House in Athens, Georgia. The couple was in town for Georgia's spring game festivities on Saturday.
Late Saturday night, Athens-Clarke County police officers were called to the area near the Waffle House location for what amounted to a domestic violence incident involving Demery allegedly "choking (strangling) a female.
