Brazilian authorities told ABC News on Thursday that they have video that shows an unidentified U.S. swimmer breaking down a gas station restroom door while "fighting" with a security guard and that they fabricated a story about being robbed.
U.S. swimmer Ryan Lochte and three other American swimmers say they were robbed at gunpoint over the weekend and authorities in Rio have been trying to validate those stories ever since.
Initially, Lochte said he, Jimmy Feigen, Jack Conger and Gunnar Bentz were pulled over by men who were dressed as cops after pulling over their cab while trying to return to the Olympic village, but Lochte later told NBC's Matt Lauer that story wasn't exactly true.
