Toronto Blue Jays All-Star Edwin Encarnacion is the subject of a $11.5 million lawsuit that claims the slugger knowingly gave a woman multiple sexually transmitted diseases as well as battery, misrepresentation of the facts and additional allegations, TMZ Sports reported.
According to the lawsuit, obtained by the celebrity gossip site Monday, the 24-year-old woman said she tested positive for two unspecified sexually transmitted diseases after having unprotected sex multiple occasions with Encarnacion during a trip to the Dominican Republic in February 2016.

The woman, who says in the lawsuit she also was sexually involved with one of Encarnacion's Jays teammates last year, said she contacted Encarnacion after experiencing pain following intercourse.
