The Houston Texans triggered Deshaun Watson's fifth-year option for the 2021 season, according to ESPN's Field Yates.
Sarah Barshop of ESPN added the Texans are still looking to agree to a long-term extension with the two-time Pro Bowler: "The Texans last week began to engage in 'very preliminary' discussions with Watson and his representatives with more to come."
